Bald Canyon Territory, San Clemente Island, California

 2019 Season:

 Adult Male, unidentified.

 Adult Female A-32 (aka Chinook), removed from nest in Alaska and released on Santa Cruz Island in 2004.

 First egg seen 3/12, second egg seen 3/15

 Chicks hatched 4/17 and 4/19

 Chicks banded 6/1. Female 38/A (aka Zephyr) and Female 74/A (aka Te-Waste-Winyan) (Tea for short))

 Both chicks fledged on 7/9

 

 2018 Season:

 Adult Male, unidentified.

 Adult Female A-32, removed from nest in Alaska and released on Santa Cruz Island in 2004.

 Laid eggs on 3/7, 3/10

 Chicks hatched 4/12 and 4/14

 Chicks banded 5/31. Male 49/A (orange band on right leg) and Male 22/A (orange band on left leg)

 Male 22/A fell out of the nest on 6/4. He was returned the following day.

 49/A died of unknown causes on 6/9.

 7/17: Male 22/A fledged within last 24 hours.

 

 2017 Season:

 Adult Male, unidentified

 Adult Female A-32

 Eggs laid 3/5 and 3/8

 Two chicks hatched 4/11 and 4/13

 Chicks banded on 5/27

 Female 01/A, aka Keena, fledged on 7/24. Current status unknown

 Male 15/A, aka Wrigley, fledged on 6/28. Current status unknown

 

 2016 Season:

 Adult Male, unidentified

 Adult Female, A-32

 Found incubating eggs on 3/9

 Two chicks hatched 4/9 and 4/11

 Chicks not banded

 Both chicks fledged 7/4. Current status unknown

 

 2015 Season:

 Adult Male, K-76 (aka Tuqan), hatched at Twin Rocks nest on Catalina Is. in 2007.

 Adult Female, A-32

 Found incubating eggs on 3/18.

 Two chicks present on 4/16.

 Chicks banded on 5/29.

 Male 5/D, aka Ethan, fledged ~7/2. Seen on Catalina Island on 5/10/18. Found dead near Lake of the Woods, Klamath Co., OR on 7/4/19

 Female 5/M, aka Koko, fledged ~7/2. Current status unknown.

 

 

 2014 Season:

 Adults discovered working on a nest.
