Your nest adoption will help cover the costs
of monitoring the nest, incubating the eggs and fostering
the chick(s) into the nest. Groups can raise funds to adopt
a nest and split the benefits among their members.
What are the benefits of adopting?
- A personalized adoption certificate
- A photo of the chick(s) in the nest at the time of banding (8 weeks old)
- "Eagles
of Catalina" DVD/VHS
- A personal 5-6 hour Catalina Island tour for 3-4 people
with an IWS biologist
- Acknowledgment of your adoption on the
Institute for Wildlife Studies website
- Some nests have live cameras and you can watch your
adopted chick(s) grow via the internet
- Gift adoptions include an adoption card announcing your
gift.
