Today's Viewing is Sponsored by Nancee Wells

"Thanks Pete and Steffani for all your hard work!"

The West End chick was manually hatched at 8:30 pm on April 15th. Its head was at the wrong end of the egg and it was stuck to the egg membranes. It likely will be fostered to the West End nest midday on April 19th.

IWS Incubation Facility

This is a live view of our bald eagle incubation facility on Santa Catalina Island. The camera will be moved between our hatching unit and brooding unit so you can watch bald eagle eggs hatch and eagle chicks grow before they are fostered into nests at about a week of age. This work is entirely funded by generous donations from viewers like you and other supporters of IWS.

If you would like to help support our bald eagle restoration efforts, which allow us to bring you the images you are watching, please consider making a tax-deductible donation. All donations will be used solely for our bald eagle restoration and education projects. Thank you.
