B.S. Fisheries, Wildlife, and Conservation Sciences - Oregon State University

Research/Interests:

Jacob has worked in a variety of ecosystems and with many different animals. In Oregon he worked in the cascade range with Norther Spotted-Owls, the coastal range with Roosevelt Elk, and the sage brush researching Greater Sage-Grouse. In Alaska he sailed on fishing boats as a fisheries observer, raised salmon as a hatchery technician, and gave ecosystem tours as a kayak guide in Sitka. He was raised in Southern California and entered the field of conservation science for his love of the outdoors. His approach to life is one day at a time and hopes to enjoy many more adventures in the years to come.
