Summer Alinaeem
Wildlife Biologist
Education:
B.S Environmental Science, Technology, and Policy - California State University, Monterey Bay, 2022
Research/Interests:
I am currently working on the IWS Northeastern California Mountain Lion Study. We are investigating movement, prey selection, and mortality using a combination of invasive and non-invasive methods.
I have worked on wildlife projects throughout the United States since 2022 and have had the great privilege of working on projects with birds, herptiles, small mammals, small carnivores, ungulates, mesocarnivores, and large carnivores. My research interests include risk assessment, disease, factors driving fecundity, and prey specialization.
If you have any questions or would like to get in touch with the Northeastern California Lion Study please don't hesitate to reach out.
